New Commission: Global Goals Berlin

Berlin has always been a city where music and innovation collide — this new commission is an opportunity to bring those forces together.

I’m honored to be composing a solo piano work for the Global Goals Berlin project, a United Nations initiative dedicated to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. My piece will represent Goal No.1: No Poverty, using music as a vehicle to reflect on resilience, struggle, and hope.

Curated by composer Ken Ueno, the project will premiere in June 2025 as part of Fête de la Musique, with performances across Berlin alongside works by leading international composers.
